A2 Open Studio is an architectural practice founded in 2024 by two architects who studied and worked together for over a decade before starting it. The studio works across Sweden and the Netherlands.

The work is deliberately open — architecture, interior, landscape and research, with photography and writing where they help. The projects range from a mosque competition to a bar interior to housing research, because the question underneath is the same at every scale: how a place gets used, and by whom.

Underneath the work is one principle: that good building leaves room — to change, to be used in ways the drawing did not predict, and for the people who live in it to complete it. Structure that holds, and freedom within it.
